The Flu
Logan got the flu last weekend.
By the time our backup arrived (Grandma & Grandpa), Mommy was sick.
The next morning Daddy was sick.
A day later Grandma was sick.
And the day after that Grandpa was sick.
Between blow-out diapers, cleaning up puke from the sofa and a million loads of wash we still had a great time together! I'm very proud and thankful for my wonderful family...

Happy New Year!
We had a bit of a rough start to the new year with Logan being sick. He got a bad cough --croup, which changed his eating habits, which gave him a tummy ache and some gas...which was combined with a runny nose. Such is life. We were happy to have Grandma and Grandpa ring in the new year and be there to respond to cries at 12:05am New Year's morning.
Logan has been feeling much better and seems to be back to his normal self, although perhaps not eating as much as normal. He's talking a lot and LOVES to sing and dance. We're been getting a lot of random singing from him lately...Happy Birthday, Ba Ba Black Sheep, Twinkle Twinkle, ABC Song, and the Bob the Builder Theme Song are all standards. This past weekend he's been singing stuff we had no idea he knew to sing by himself --like the Family song from Yo Gabba Gabba or the I Love You song from Barney....and a bunch of others we don't know.
Logan is really enjoying all the books he got for Christmas. He likes when we ask him to point things out. I'm surprised at what he knows -besides the normal key things like farm and zoo animals he can point out a dolphin, knows different musical instruments, and knows the difference between a bus, a truck, a plane etc.

Logan helped put together a Lego chair to sit in since he kept trying to sit in Ernie's chair...And check out of new paint colour in the background! Love it!
