Our little garden gnome

Here is Logan running around with his friend, Sanjay. This was right after Loggie thought it would be a good idea to eat dirt. And here he is practicing to be a garden gnome...

Our Weekend

Logan is a very big boy now -he has mastered the use of a spoon and can now eat cereal by himself. Saturday morning we got Logan's haircut. I wish he would stay still for us at home!

Hannah's 2nd and Jacob'4th Birthday party was at a gymnasium.

Happy Birthday!
Hannah and Logan didn't want the party to end.
While people were leaving, these two were still getting down.

Saturday afternoon it poured. When it's raining hard, Logan likes to go to the front porch and feel the water on his hands.

And then on Sunday morning after waiting in line to get into Wonderland...it started to pour! It wasn't suppose to until after lunch! Since we have season tickets, we decided to leave rather than wait a few hours for it to pass. Thank goodness we can we can go into Toys R Us, play with the toys and then leave without a full tantrum....likely won't last much longer. Daddy taught Logan to push the trains and say 'choo-choo'. Very cute.

To celebrate the arrival of a new cousin in Vietnam in 216 days we went out for Pho's.
Logan loved it and was very well behaved.

Get me out of this!

My little boy has grown up --he will no longer allow me to dress him up. LOL
Oh well, at least I got these pictures and these while I could...

I love you!

Logan at 17 months and six days now says "I love you!".

He started saying it when Mommy said it at Dinner....and kept on saying it! We called both set of Grandparents to show off. Click here to see Logan trying to say it at four months old.

Logan and the beanstalk

At school Logan did a science project -they each grew their own bean in a clear cup so that they could see the roots and learn how to water plants to help them grew. After a few weeks Logan brought his bean plant home and Grandma planted it the backyard garden. Today we were able to eat the first bean!

Logan was very proud of his bean and didn't want to eat it. He just wanted to look at it and pass it to Mommy or Daddy to 'share'.

Logan goes to Collingwood

We had a nice family vacation up in Collingwood. We went Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning. Logan was (surprisingly) very good on the ride there and back. He played with his toys, sang songs and took a nap. Lately he's been wanting to hang out with the dog that Lauren gave him when he was born.
In Collingwood we stay at a friend's condo at a yacht and tennis club. The area has a crazy old park. We only let Logan go down the slide and go on the swing.

Cute picture of Daddy and Logan. And have a look at this park -totally dangerous and outdated but really awesome. They don't make great parks like this anymore! Reminds me of the one they use to have at my grade school before they too many kids broke their arms and they had to take it down....

This was the second year that we all went to Collingwood. And what a difference a year makes! Click here to see a picture of these three a year ago.

The weather wasn't as warm as I had liked it to be. But that didn't stop the kiddos from going to the pool.

Logan absolutely adored this statute. Totally unprompted he kept going up the wolves and giving each of them big kisses all weekend.

At the village in Collingwood.

We took Ky, Caprii and Ate Beth up to the top of the mountain. Here they are looking scared for the camera. What a bunch of jokers!

I didn't think taking a toddler to see some live music when his bed time was approaching to be the best of ideas. However, Logan really liked it. Drew Wright, a Canadian Idol dude was preforming for free in the middle of the village so we stopped to listen. Logan liked dancing to the music and clapping at the end of each song.

The kids and I went for a little walk together....

After our walk we all had beavertails -yum!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

Logan loved his time with his grandparents!

"Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! I love you!"
Here is Logan after realizing that Grandma and Grandpa were really leaving when he said bye to them.

But a few minutes later he was goofing around wearing his DJ Lance Rock play glasses.

Thank Goodness for Grandma and Grandpa!

We were lucky to be able to call upon Grandma and Grandpa to help out for two weeks when our Home Daycare arrangements fell though. Logan was so happy to do "Grammie and Grandpa Summer Camp". Everyday is something different -a trip to the petting zoo, an outing to the library, going to the park or the Early Years play group. He's having so much with fun with them.
Logan's cool new crab towel...
Eating corn on the cob; He loves it!
We also went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Jim and to swim this weekend.

Pancakes!
Going for a ride in the backyard

He likes to wear Mommy's hat.

Logan sat at the table with a plate and used his spoon just like a big boy.
He loves being independent and doing things for himself.

Tita Helen from London came with us for the weekend. She just couldn't resist coming to see the largest operating water wheel in North America!
Getting ready for a run!

On Sunday we went to Lolo's and Lola's for a picnic. Logan really liked the Magic Sing there.
Here he is singing Mommy a song...
