Fun at the Niagara Aquarium

We had a great time at the Niagara Aquarium

For a five and two year old this was the perfect place to spend about two hours.

 The seals in the central tank were the biggest hit

If you go, you need to see the seal show.

All the seals were rescued -some were hurt or have medical conditions -and can not be released into the wild.

 

It's best to watch the show from the top floor.

 Turtles, tropical fish, seals and penguins! What a fun morning!

 Since we were in the States we headed over to Target to stock up on Goldfish! So many flavours over there that we don't have in Canada

 

Logan got some Lego, which was also cheaper over in the States and had fun putting it together with Daddy.

 



Doors Open Markham 2012

This year we took this kids to Doors Open Markham. The fire station was a great place to go and the guys working there were very friendly and answered all the questions we came up with (no dog, no pole to slide down, showed us how they launder there fire suits and the jaws of life...)

 Next we were off to the Verley Art Gallery

Fall Fair

We took the kids o the Fall Fair in my hometown. 

Logan loved this cheesy fun house they had.

 While we were down there we also got to have brunch with Erica!

2012 Family Day

 We had a lovely time on Family Day over at Markham Museum!

 Kali really enjoyed being pulled around in her sled-we haven't had much snow this winter so this was only the second time we'd had it out.

 Playing with ice -they had squirt bottles with colored water, which was a great idea.
