Activity #57: Interrupt someone’s work day

I completed another Rookie Mom's Challenge: interrupting someone's work day.

I completed it on Tuesday because I wanted to time it for my departments staff meeting --because if you're going to interrupt one persons day, you might as well interrupt everyone's! This trip was pretty involved too ---I'm in suburbia Markham and this was downtown Toronto. I drove to the subway in North York and then needed to take two subway lines and an endless number of elevators to get there. I timed it really well so that she had her bottle during the meeting. People were very impressed with her loud burps.

After the staff meeting, Kalia and cruised around two different floor saying hello. Here she is spitting up on Liz... And she was so cute, Zia Sarah even offered up her filing cabinet as a change table!

I left the house around 9:30 and was back by 3. A full day but lots of fun!

Friday Summer Fun

This Friday was Tita's Helen's last day of working with Mommy. So Logan and Daddy came downtown to have lunch with her. We went to a sushi restaurant and Logan made friends with the sushi guy that was working behind him.

Here is Mommy and her co-workers ---and Logan trying to push people out of the picture! It was such a hot day that Mommy took off of work to join her two boys at Wonderland's splash park.

Get to work!

My little 7 month old Logan and I commuted downtown today on the subway...his third time on the subway already! After a quick orientation from Zia Sarah, little baby Logan was put to work.

"Hi Mark. What? It's due by the end of the day? Hmmm, I'll try but I don't know how realistic that is..." "This is hard work! I need a coffee break! "

Zia Sarah Visits!

Our wonderful Zia Sarah came to our new house for a visit. She brought her boyfriend Peter and the most delicious homemade cheesecake! Logan showed off his new teeth and his new skills, such as giving kisses, grabbing hair, attempting to crawl and putting everything in sight in his mouth. Not only did Zia Sarah bring us cheesecake, she also changed Logan's poopy diaper! You're welcome to come back anytime! XOXOXO

Loggie Goes Downtown

First, let me just brag about Logan's sleep habits....last night he slept 11 hours and 34 minutes straight through! Here is his chart from our Trixie Tracker report...blue is sleep, yellow is awake and the time line is at the top. Just for fun, take a look at what Logan's sleeping habits were like at one month old. Big difference. Eight hours of sleep and free time at night is sooo nice. It was worth all the work and reading that went into the 'sleep training'.
Anyway, I made cupcakes again!

Logan and I took the subway downtown to drop them off to my colleagues at CCO and to take Sarah A out for a birthday celebration lunch. Logan had just woken up and was starting to get hungry when we got there so he was very cuddly and drooled on everyone.

We love Zia Sarah!

Yet another stellar weekend! Logan and Mommy went and visited Zia Sarah on Saturday. Keeping Logan's rep as the coolest 'bout it bout it' baby, we brought Sarah cupcakes. According some people, cupcakes are "super trendy" right now. Just for the record, Logan is not a hypebeast. He is setting these trends. Yo!
And to end the nice weekend, Mom spent three hours at the spa on Sunday. What a nice Mother's Day gift!!

Visiting with Tita Sarah

We had a really good Sunday -it was pretty much 'family pj day' until late afternoon. Then we met Tita Sarah for dessert so I could get caught up with all the CCO 'gossip'.



Logan slept for the majority of the time but when he woke up he surprised us with a couple of new faces.... I know every parent must say that their kid is cute but come on, I don't think it's a matter of opinion; Logan is adorable! :)

New Friends!

Auntie Sarah and her adorable sister, Amani, stopped by to meet Logan. Amani's picture of Logan looked remarkably like Logan and she also made a bracelet for him.


Later that night friends and family stopped by to see Logan and watch the UFC fight. Here is Tita Julie, cousin Xyris and Auntie Vicki hanging out.
