Poole Family Christmas Party

The Poole Family Christmas party this year was at Mommy's cousins house: Len and Perry's .

Sick!

Logan didn't want to eat any thing for a few days, had a runny nose and then got a fever at school on Wednesday. So off to the ofter hours clinic we went to see the doctor...

We kept Loggie busy by looking at magazines and videos on Daddy's phone...

Turned out that Logan had the start of an ear infection. Poor guy!

Grandparents and cousns

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit Dec 12-13, 2009.

Logan and Grandpa put together the car garage that his Godfather gave him last weekend.

Holiday Party

Saturday night we had a holiday party at our house for our friends. Logan was a very good boy and shared his toys with his friends. Good sharing, Logan!

Logan meets Santa

We took Logan to the mall on Saturday so he could meet Santa for the first time. It was over an hour wait but Logan was very good. He practiced his smiles in line and seemed excited...

Logan can now take off his shirt by himself and says his own name when you ask who he is! Big boy!

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit and babysat Friday night and Saturday morning. We went out for a salsa lesson on Friday and got most of the Christmas shopping done on Saturday! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Logan liked reading "Grandpa and Me" and "Grandma and Me" to them.Logan really likes fish so we got Grandpa's old tank. Logan helped set up the tank -dumped in the gravel and the water with his grandparents help. Three new goldfish!

On Sunday afternoon we went to Auntie Shirley's baby shower. Logan was so happy to dance to Yo Gabba Gabba music with his cousins.

Some milestone updates:

*Logan went poo-poo in the potty at 21 months and two weeks! Before bath time he sits on the potty and flushes the toilet and we talk about the potty and give high-fives, etc. In the last month he's maybe gone pee in the potty about four times but it's been a positive experience for him and we're not rushing it. So on Sunday, I'm sitting on the little chair in front of him and he's sitting on the potty...I'm saying "The potty is where pee and poo-goes. You just push it out and put it there. Muno goes pee-pee in the potty. Plex goes poo-poo in the potty." And then I see him start to push and then stand up ---poo-poo in the potty but mostly on the floor. Oh well! I good first attempt! Good job, Logan!

*For the last few months we've had a soother in Logan's crib but he hasn't really been using it. A few times at nap time or when he isn't feeling well but really infrequent. Since he doesn't need it, I've put them all away. I am so thankful we didn't have to 'wean' him off it or go through an ordeal to get rid of it. Phew!
