The choice between getting an air conditioner unit and paying our property taxes was a hard one to make this summer. But since we're paying those taxes, we are taking full advantage of all the lovely community amenities -especially splash pads at the parks!

Logan absolutely loves the swings!
Take a look at the sky -it had stormed all day and every quickly dried up and was very humid.
Allan found this splash pad on his way home from a friend's -it's a neighbourhood north of us. It has lots of jets shooting water from the floor at different times -not bad but it has a cement floor so we held Logan's hand since when he runs/gets excited he sometimes trips.

FridayWe decided it was worth the ten minute drive a bit north to go to the super splash pad with the rubber flooring. This is the one we went to with Grandma and Grandpa.
