Sunday at the Farm

We went from a lovely sunny Saturday to a wet and rainy Sunday. After being stuck in the house for most of the day we headed to the petting zoo when the rain briefly stopped. When we got out of the car and Logan saw where we were, he was so happy!

I love this picture! Daddy had a good time too...

"You came running over fast, guy! I was about to punch it..." hahahaha

Wonderland Splash Park

We knew it was going to be a lovely Saturday so we headed out after breakfast to the Wonderland splash park.
Lucky for us, the cousins had the same idea!

Logan really liked the waves and the swimming lesson from Daddy.

Logan went down his first water slide! Here he is with Mommy....

And then again with Daddy!
I don't know if you can zoom in on your computer but Daddy looks very afraid!

What a fun day!

We love splash parks!

The choice between getting an air conditioner unit and paying our property taxes was a hard one to make this summer. But since we're paying those taxes, we are taking full advantage of all the lovely community amenities -especially splash pads at the parks!
Thursday

Logan absolutely loves the swings!
Take a look at the sky -it had stormed all day and every quickly dried up and was very humid.

Allan found this splash pad on his way home from a friend's -it's a neighbourhood north of us. It has lots of jets shooting water from the floor at different times -not bad but it has a cement floor so we held Logan's hand since when he runs/gets excited he sometimes trips.
Note the rainbow to left...
Friday
We decided it was worth the ten minute drive a bit north to go to the super splash pad with the rubber flooring. This is the one we went to with Grandma and Grandpa.

First time at the Splash Park

I took Monday off to go to the dentist around lunch. I convinced the Grandparents to stay a bit longer -we picked Logan up early from daycare and went to the splash park before dinner. It was Logan's first time at a splash park and he really enjoyed it!

Logan loved pushing these buttons to make the water squirt!

Happy Fathers Day!

This Saturday was Father's Day. We made Grandpa a yummy breakfast and Logan gave him the painting he made for him. And because we love Daddy so much, we let him sleep in as long as he wanted!
We let Daddy eat his fabulous breakfast we made for him in peace. We headed over the park with Grandma to make sand castles.

After lunch Daddy went golfing with Uncle and Lolo.
Logan took Grandpa to a free petting zoo close by as a special treat! :)

You could bring carrots, celery and bread from home to feed the animals. Logan caught on pretty quickly how you feed the farm animals and to let go once they started eating their food.

For dinner we went to Lolo and Lola's house. The cousins brought their bouncy castle to play in...

It was hard for Logan to keep his balance but he had fun trying!

We waited to long to take the special Fathers Day photo...Logan wouldn't hold still and give us his beautiful smile as he wanted to get to bed.

Happy Fathers Day, Grandpa, Daddy and Lolo!

Friends, Family and Good Music

If the weather is nice, after dinner I take Logan to the park a few blocks away. This week we saw his neighbour friend there...

Logan loves bath time!

Yum, soap!
Ta-da! Logan knows a magic trick -he can make the duck disappear!

Friday we went to the Markham Music Festival. Logan liked to look at all the girls and listen to the different types of music. We even saw his teacher there!
Tito Tai and Tita Debbie were there...
...even the cousins, uncle and Auntie!
