Logan has done 'hand prints' at the Early Years Centre but has never finger painted before. I thought that 10 months old might be too early...but we were stuck inside due to the snow and coldness and I thought we could turn whatever he made into Christmas thank you cards. I figured that since the paint was non-toxic and washable that it couldn't really go that badly.
I sat Logan in his Bumbo on a vinyl tablecloth without his shirt, put his soother in his mouth (so he wouldn't try to eat it) and let him go wild.
He seemed to really enjoy it and even liked playing with the paper towels during clean-up.
