Practicing his smile in the car...

Despite cool weather this Sunday, our trip to Edwards Gardens finally happened.

Saturday!

In the morning Daddy showed Logan our new 'pet' Swiggles. Logan loves to watch him move and pet him. We'll have to get a video up of this because Al is actually really good at making this thing move around....and I have no idea how to explain what it is.

Logan still takes a morning nap most days.

In the afternoon we met up with the cousins for rides at Wonderland!

Then for dinner we went to a family BBQ. Logan is very observant and picks up things quick. He saw that people dipped the chips in the salsa and wanted to do the same. We got him his own salsa to avoid the double dipping.

"Ate Mylene, can I please just have one more tiny taste of ice cream?"

Tomorrow the plan is to go to Edward's gardens and perhaps take some family photos --hopefully the don't end up on this site! LOL

Sunday at Home

We had an awesome Saturday and had big plans for Sunday -brunch with Logan's Godmother, family pictures at Edward's Gardens and the Supper with Grammie and Gramps. Unfortunately we woke up with the stomach flu or food poisoning.

"Mommy, I don't feel so great..."So instead of our fabulous plans we stayed home and did wonderful things like doing the laundry.

And make watermelon juice with our juicer...

Luckily Logan only threw up once and was well enough to help Grandpa set up a birdbath in the back yard in the afternoon.

A Wonderful Saturday

Logan slept in until after 7am this Saturday, which started the weekend off on the right foot!

After breakfast we headed over to drop off a birthday gift to Logan's girlfriend, Carrissa. Logan enjoyed playing in the big box with her, riding on her princess car and eating all her Cheerios.

Then after a quick morning nap in the car and lunch we went to Wonderland!

We were pleasantly surprised to get a call from the UK from Helen while we were there. "Love you, Auntie H! Looking forward to playing with you in July! Big Kisses!"

On to the next ride!

Back home for a nap for Logan and Mommy and we then we were off to meet Lola, Lolo and the cousins.

The fish tank at the restaurant was a big hit. We're thinking about getting one...Allan would like a lizard more but I think fish are easier to take of and better since they can't escape.

Tito Lee and Tita E Visit!

Tito Lee and Tita E came to visit on Sunday. They taught Logan how to stack his building blocking that Tito Simon gave him for his birthday. Before he only liked to knock over towers or disassemble the blocks piece by piece.

It's been a while since Erica visited. She's back in Ontario for a few weeks before heading over to Ireland to a nurse there. What an adventure!

Wonderland 2009

We got season passes again this year to Wonderland. Logan is going to have a blast this year -he was able to go five rides this Saturday. Before he would go on two and then need a nap.

Some of the kiddie rides were too scary for Daddy!

The day was a bit overcast but it was about 20 degrees Celsius and it didn't really rain like they had called for -only sprinkled for like five minutes. And look who we came across on our way out! Logan's cousins!


On the way home Logan entertained us with a new sound to show us how happy he was with our fun day!
