Happy Birthday, Lauren!

Yes, another busy weekend for our family.

Saturday Logan went and got a another haircut at Melonheads after a failed attempt by Daddy...

Logan also got in some DJ practice.

On Sunday it was Lauren's 13th birthday! A teenager already!
We went for Sushi, which Logan loved.
Here he is with his Lolo Oscar.


The cat with the moving hand was a very big hit with all the kids. Auntie Vicki even lifted Logan up so he could give him a high five and wave back at him.

Uncle Kerwin's magic tricks were also a favorite of Logan's but he is one smart cookie and soon caught on to where his Tupperware of cookies was disappearing to...
Happy Birthday, Ate Lauren!

Unfortunately we had a very rough Sunday night and by Monday Logan was not in a good mood and very upset. Allan and I took him to the on call doctor at our family doctor's clinic and got him checked out. An ear infection! Again!

I was doing what ever I could to distract Logan and keep him happy while we waited....

He's feeling a lot better now compared to Monday.

Today, Daddy is on his way to Vegas to visit family and see the Manny fight on Saturday.

We miss you already, Daddy!

Saturday at the Park

Saturday we went to local park with Logan. Unfortunately it turned out to be a bit overcast so we didn't have our picnic lunch there as planed.

The slide was big hit -especially the twirly one.

Logan also loved bring pushed on the swings...
But in the afternoon Logan had trouble napping. When he woke up he was crying and complaining and just miserable. The amount of drool coming from this little guy was unreal, so we assumed it was his molar coming in that was bothering him. Lolo came by later that evening and did a little 'house call' for us.

We were so thankful Lolo came by as it was an ear infection that was making Logan so upset.

Ahhhh, poor guy!

Friday Night Date Night

When I picked Logan up from Daycare on Friday his teacher said that he wasn't acting like himself -very mellow, not laughing and smiling. He's been drooling a lot so we figured his molar coming in was bothering him. But by the time Lola and Ate Jessie came over to babysit he was in good form. He had fun showing off all his new skills -bouncing basketballs, pushing cars around and making a mess.
Since he wasn't 100%, we waited until he was asleep to head out for our date night. We went cosmic bowling and while we both sucked I still manged to have the highest score of the night -96! Woot! Woot!

Logan rocked his Keon Cam shirt from Old Navy this week and set out to get into some mischief.


Logan loves to brush his teeth but he's suppose to stand still or sit down ---staying still hasn't been an easy thing for him to do recently.

He loves going into our Master bathroom. He wants to open and close all the doors and touch the scale. He's recently learnt how fun it is to unwind the toilet paper.
He also always runs some water into the tub. Perhaps he's trying to tell me to unwind, relax and take a bubble bath...?

Easter Weekend 2009

Tito Lee came over Thursday night to catch a ride back to the 'Burg Friday morning. He bought a cute little Easter chick for Logan! We got to Grandpa and Grandpa's by lunch on Friday. Logan loved going to park with his grandparents.



He also really liked looking at the goldfish in the backyard pond.

Saturday night we had a really yummy dinner with Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma and Grandpa Jim.

Sunday morning we did the Easter egg hunt when Logan woke up. He was really excited about it and he understood that he had to find the eggs and then put them in the basket.

Saturday night we were back home and hosting a dinner party for our friends.

Sunday we had brunch with Jacqueline, Logan's Godmother.

Slides are Awesome!

We moved the slide from the basement up into Logan's play area last week. Logan loves going down it. He has also given every single toy he owns a chance to go down the slide too.

A full weekend

Logan loves his books. He likes to pull all of them on to the floor and "read" to us. He has mastered turning the the pages and is now babbling away and telling us stories.



We noticed that Logan loves pushing buttons now and he knows how to turn on our clock radio and starts to dance....So, we got Logan a new toy -the muno groove guitar!

It's pretty awesome! And he LOVES it!

On Sunday morning we watched the PVR'ed Yo Gabba Gabba episode 'New Friends' and it was the best one yet -Jack Black was the guest for the whole show. Logan is starting to pick up on the actions of the dances.

The weather was nice on Sunday so Logan and I went for a walk around the neighbourhood. Lots of friendly dogs to pet and blow kisses to and lots of kids out on their bikes to wave to.


We also went out for sushi for Uncle Alwyn's birthday at the same place as last year -he was so tiny then!

Logan was very happy to get to show his Lolo his 'high five' trick...
