Fun with Warm Air
Logan was very impressed the other day that warm air was blowing from the ground! So I got some paper to rev up the fun and also put in his soother to help him resit eating it...

Yo Gabba Gabba
Logan loves to watch Yo Gabba Gabba...and I must admit I really like watching it too.
Some clarification though...
That's not Keon. It's DJ Lance Rock; who is an actual DJ.
And for Foofa it's "She's PINK and happy", not "she's friggin' happy' -that one took me a while to figure out.

First Day of Snow Fun
It was about one degree outside and with the snow fall last night it was the perfect time to make a snowman. I bundled Logan up and set him on a blanket so that he could watch. He didn't really know what to make of the snow...

Logan Claps
Logan sometimes screams when he gets excited. To prevent headaches, I've been trying to help express his happiness by teaching him to clap. He's starting to get the hang of clapping and now can scream and clap at the same time.... LOL
Shock and Awe Hair Cutting
Logan's head was starting to look a bit fussy on top so I decided I would give him another haircut. I use the 'Shock and Awe Baby Haircutting Technique'....
The shock:

Put baby in the bath tub with NO water! To keep squirming to a minimum use a Bumbo seat too.
What's going on?!?!?
Give the baby a cookie!!!
A cookie? Yes!!!!

Practicing for Christmas
So many toys to play with and all Logan wants to play with is wrapping paper -I guess he's practicing for Christmas! Logan loves to feel things that have different textures so I try to find something different for him to explore each day -the plant in the kitchen, a leaf from our walk, the fuzzy fur blanket.
Logan love ripping and crunching up paper but in the past he has always wanted to eat it (postcards, tissue paper, wrapping paper, etc). But yesterday we played with wrapping paper for almost an hour and I only had to remind him twice that paper wasn't for eating. :)

Happy Birthday, Lola!
Tonight we went to the new Mandarin restaurant close to our house for Lola's birthday. It was the first time that Logan sat in one of the high chairs at a restaurant...he was very happy about it.
All the kids and Lola!
Hanging out with the cousins is so much fun -especially when they spend so much time trying to get me to smile and laugh!
Logan loves eating melon from his mesh bag -this is an amazing invention!
I'm Nine Months Old!
Logan had his nine month check up yesterday. He was a very good boy and was laughing and smiling at everyone -the secretary, the nurses, the doctor and the people in the waiting room.
Here he is just chilling while we wait for his weigh-in. LOL
Length: 73 cm, 70 percentile
Weight: 20 lbs 9 oz, 43 percentile
Head circumference: 45.9 cm, 70 percentile

Besides the drool rash under his chin, everything is going great. The doctor just recommended rubbing in diaper rash cream before bedtime.
And in other news, Logan's new favorite hobby is pulling off his socks...

Logan's Baptism
Logan had his Baptism this Sunday. Allan is Catholic and this was something that was very important to him to pass onto his son. Logan wore the same outfit that his cousins Kiyan and Xyris wore and looked like a little doll.

They were a bit hit and easy to make. I got the step-by-step directions from For the Love of Paper Blog (Since I made them a few weeks beforehand I used hot glue instead of the double sided tape)
Instead of bonbonnieres we decided to make a donation the hospital where Logan was born. I made fortune cookies for the center pieces -one side told about the donation and the other side had a fortune.

Big Bath Fun
On Saturday we started giving Logan his baths in the big bathtub. He cried for about ten seconds when we put him in and then acted rather indifferent to the change. Logan isn't a big splasher in the tub. He's pretty relaxed and likes to lie back and get his hair washed. We call it the Baby Spa because after bath time he gets a massage -I wish I could get that every morning!
