Yet another wonderful Saturday...

Saturday morning we went for a walk with the kids around Cornell for the community garage sale. Kiyan amazed us by riding his bike without training wheels!
Then off to brunch with Tita Kathy and Tita Jacqueline to catch up on the gossip. Tita Kathy is going to have her baby in a week or so. Logan said he can't wait to meet her!
Then to finish the day Logan showed us that he a Big Boy now and held his own bottle! We use the 9 oz BornFree glass bottles which is kinda heavy so Loggie really impressed us....

Grandparent Fun

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit!

Logan put on the outfit that Uncle K and Auntie V gave him. He was so happy to finally be able to fit into it.

Grandpa even took Logan to the Early Years Centre to the 'Singable Stories' session. Too bad Loggie fell asleep half way through it...

Nurse Erica visits!

My super awesome friend, Erica, came all the way from Nova Scotia just to see Logan -and perhaps a couple of other less important people. Logan heard me talking about nurse Erica all week and was very excited to finally meet her. For Christmas Erica bought Logan an outfit from Germany and he was finally the right size to fit into it -just in time for her visit!
Logan was so happy in Auntie Erica's lap that he could have stayed there and cuddled all day! Good thing mommy passed on some clothes to Erica or she might have tried to smuggle Logan away in her suitcase!

Evan has grown so much since the last time we saw him! Now that Logan is here ,they are hitting the play group circuit together. They going to do swimming lessons next month together.

Gosh are they getting big! Playgroups and bottles of milk today...clubs and bottles of beer tomorrow! Oh my!

We love Zia Sarah!

Yet another stellar weekend! Logan and Mommy went and visited Zia Sarah on Saturday. Keeping Logan's rep as the coolest 'bout it bout it' baby, we brought Sarah cupcakes. According some people, cupcakes are "super trendy" right now. Just for the record, Logan is not a hypebeast. He is setting these trends. Yo!
And to end the nice weekend, Mom spent three hours at the spa on Sunday. What a nice Mother's Day gift!!

Adventures in Logan Land

Logan and I had a busy week....Baby Goose at the Library on Monday, Babes in Playland session at the Early Years Center on Tuesday, a trip to the mall on Wednesday, visited Tita Julie and Baby Maya in Pickering on Thursday and a visit from cousins today.

After talking to a bunch of new moms this week I've really come to appreciate just how good I've got it. There is a list of complaints that I've heard moms rhyme off that don't apply to me anymore. I talk full showers. I blow dry my hair almost every morning. I've read many 'child care/ baby sleep' books and even a few Chick Lit ones since Logan was born. I take at least one bubble bath a week. I bake cupcakes. I'm well rested. I have energy to go for a walk every day. Every evening my hubby and I have some time alone together. I'm well rested. I have time to eat three meals a day. LOL These things might seem sooo small but it's amazing that once you have a baby these things are no longer taken for granted. There were days when Allan came home from work and I was still in my PJs. And just over a month ago I was so sleepy I walked into a wall. The first two months were a real challenge and adjustment. But the work Logan and I put into establishing a routine is totally paying off now. Logan has been the youngest baby that we've met at the playgroups; most babies there are over 7 months old. I guess it's pretty impressive for us to both show up feed, clean and dressed for a 9:45am session. I'm quite proud of us, especially since I didn't think we'd be doing this well until about 5 months. I guess Logie is just advanced for his age. :) LOL

Busy Week

Unfortunately at the end of this busy week both Logan and Mommy got a bad cold. This has resulted in huge baby boogies for Logan and lack of sleep for both of them.

Little Friends

On Monday we went to visit Tito Phil and Tita Julie so that Logan could welcome little baby Maya to the world. She was sooo tiny and cute!
Watch out -these guys are going to be creating havoc together in a few years!
